The role

 The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing financial activities within the
company, ensuring the highest standards of financial management and compliance. This role is crucial in delivering effective financial operations and reporting, providing insightful analysis, and ensuring robust financial controls are in place. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with the executive team to support the company’s growth ambitions.

What we look for

 

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with several years of post-qualification experience in a
senior financial leadership role.
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and financial
analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing financial operations within a similar
industry or sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-orientated approach.


 What you’ll do

 

  • Manage the finance team to deliver key operational tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial statements, for statutory purposes in accordance with accounting
standards and for internal management accounts reporting
  • Develop and maintain a robust internal control environment to safeguard
company assets and ensure financial integrity
