Our team had an incredible time at AWS re:Invent. We attended many AWS cost optimization sessions, connected with customers and partners, enjoyed many networking opportunities, and even filmed an exciting project with our valued customer, SnapLogic.

We hosted a memorable 3-course private dinner with leading FinTech CTO's and one of our long-standing customers, Form3. The event which was held in the Council Chambers at the Museum of the Order of Saint John. It was a huge success and a big thank you to everyone who attended the event. 

In November, our FinOps experts, Smithy & Max headed to Barcelona for FinOps X, Europe. They had a great time catching up with friends, meeting new FinOps enthusiasts and learning from others in the industry. 

Our FinOps duo, Frank & Smithy returned to San Diego for FinOps X 2024. It was a busy few days of speaking with like-minded FinOps professionals, meeting up with our customers and partners and making new friends in the industry.

Our friendly team members Andy and Mo headed out to Canada to attend the AWS Partner Summit and AWS Toronto Summit. Both events were valuable and productive, offering excellent opportunities to reconnect with our friends at AWS and build new relationships.

For the AWS London Summit, we returned to the iconic Lightship 93. Our partners, customers, and new and familiar faces joined us for a free headshot and refreshments. We gained insights into the struggles people had with their cloud usage and changes they could implement to reduce their costs. Guests also had the opportunity to ride in style to our event from the Summit in our branded limousine.

We proudly sponsored the AWS Cloud Cup. Our team participated in activities ranging from football, yoga, and padel. The day ended with an exciting networking dinner, which included a charity auction filled with luxury prizes raising £125k. 

Our marketing team travelled to the US for the AWS LA Summit. They had a fantastic time developing their AWS cost optimization knowledge and gained deeper insights into the Media and Entertainment industry. They forged new connections at the Summit as well as caught up with existing partners including AMD.

We hosted a private dining event with our partners, AWS and AMD. The guests learned about our partnership from our CIO, Frank, and enjoyed a 3-course dinner followed by wine tasting with a sommelier at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Our Founder and CEO, James returned to the AWS Washington DC Summit to reconnect with some of our champions, partners and good friends at AWS.

We ran the official afterparty for the AWS AI & Robotics evening drinks. The event featured insightful presentations and discussions, followed by networking drinks with a raffle where attendees had the chance to win robot-themed LEGO sets!

We were thrilled to sponsor the AWS Public Sector Day for the third year running. The day was spent connecting with our valued public sector customers, partners, and friends at AWS and building new relationships.

Our Senior Account Manager, Ecaterina who primarily focusses on supporting our public sector customers headed out to Austin to attend AWS IMAGINE. It provided an excellent opportunity for her to learn about the latest advancements in cloud technology that will benefit her customers.

Our Chief Innovation Officer, Frank Contrepois attended the AWS Global Ambassador Summit in Seattle. It was a great opportunity for him to network with fellow AWS Ambassadors and present a lightning talk to them about commitments. 

Our team members, James and Charlotte headed to Dublin for AWS Cloud Day 2024.  It was a trip of exciting opportunities, from Gaelic sports team-building, networking with AWS and partners, and engaging in insightful discussions on FinOps and cost optimization. 

Our Senior Business Development Manager, Mo, and Senior AM, Ecaterina returned to Canada to attend the AWS Ottawa Public Sector Symposium. It was a great day of connecting with their Canadian network and developing their knowledge of the public sector.
