A career spanning over twenty years in cloud computing, focussing on financial value add and aviation, working for a leading innovative UK airline. Aleda has a wealth of experience in diverse roles covering commercial, multinational sales and account management, finance, business development, project management, strategic relationships, research and operations.
Doug oversees our Risk Management function. He has had eighteen years experience working in financial and commodities markets, including roles at Morgan Stanley, TP ICAP and Trafigura. He holds a Masters Degree in Statistics from the University of Cambridge.
As the Head of FinOps Consulting at Strategic Blue, Frank and his team supports a wide range of customers to implement Cloud FinOps including small-and medium-sized organisations, private equity (PE) funds and investors, enterprises and global cloud resellers striking significant deals. Frank has worked in the Cloud FinOps world for many years, is an AWS APN Ambassador and has several GCP certifications relating to Cloud FinOps.
Paul has been part of Strategic Blue for over 8 years working across all areas of the business with particular responsibilities for technology and product delivery. Prior to joining Strategic Blue Paul gained 10 years experience implementing IT projects, writing software, and managing teams of software developers mainly in the financial services sector.
Mike has 40 years’ experience working in the construction, oil & gas, marine renewable and IT sectors in both major corporations and small start-up companies. Mike has worked both within project delivery and sales, and has held corporate accountability through director and executive roles. Over the last 10 years have been specifically focused on the successful development of three companies, from initial vision, through feasibility and funding, and into implementation, operation and growth.
James believes cloud computing can learn lessons from traded commodity markets, comparing it to a hybrid of electricity and coal. Formerly at Morgan Stanley, he holds a doctorate in DNA Nanostructures from Oxford and an MSc in Physics from Cambridge.
